Privacy and data use

The current AuthMargin demonstration is intentionally local-first.

Imported CSV files

CSV files selected in the audit interface are read and analyzed by JavaScript running in your browser. The application does not upload the file to an AuthMargin server, and the public AWS deployment has no application database.

Protected health information

Do not enter patient names or other protected health information. Use de-identified client references. The MVP is not represented as HIPAA compliant and is not approved for production clinical use.

Hosting

Static files are delivered through Amazon CloudFront and Amazon S3. Standard infrastructure logs may be generated by AWS at the service level, but application access logging is not enabled by this project’s default configuration.

Commercial launch requirements

Before processing protected health information, the product requires appropriate business associate agreements, a formal risk assessment, access controls, audit logging, incident response procedures, retention controls and qualified legal and security review.
